Ankit

Ankit had enrolled at Satya Bharti School, Meghanwas, Haryana in class III. His mother passed away when Ankit was merely three years old. Since then, he has been living with his maternal grandparents. He grew up living with limited means. Initially, when he joined the school, he was too timid and afraid. It took him some time to open up with his teachers and peers. His teachers encouraged him to fight his fears and with time, he started focusing on his scholastic as well as co-scholastic activities.

Ankit took keen interest in Sports. He started exploring the horizon and soon, he secured the first position in the 100 Meters Race at the School-level, followed by bagging the first prize in the Cluster-level competition as well. Then, there was no looking back. In 2017, when he was in class X, he participated in the District-level Olympiad in which he completed the 800 meter race in 1:57 minutes and got first position, qualifying for the State-level. Here as well, he secured the first position, competing against 22 districts. He, then, qualified for the Nationals and once again, won the first prize by finishing his race in 1:54 minutes.

Not just sports, Ankit has also been a brilliant student when it comes to scholastics. He scored 85% in his academics in class X. When he was in class XI, his father passed away in an accident, yet he did not let his determination down and kept working hard towards achieving. During the same time, he participated in the Commonwealth Games which took place in Patiala, where he got third position in the 1500 m race

In class XII, he participated in the Athletic Federation of Indian Junior Game and bagged the first position on the District-level at Narnual.

Someday, Ankit wants to join Indian Army and serve his country.

Job Description Academic Mentor

  • To support School Heads / Principals and strengthen the curriculum planning, delivery and class room transaction process for improved effectiveness.
  • To optimize usage and improvement of school’s infrastructure and facilities especially working toilets, functional library, computer labs, Science labs and energized classrooms.
  • To activate critical processes such as sports, drawing and other student cantered activities and events.
  • To smoothen academic operations throughout the year and also non-academic operations viz sports day, annual day, republic day, community volunteering, PTM etc.
  • To support teachers through interactive sessions.
  • To conduct subject wise week in schools for Science, English and Math linked with the annual curriculum.
  • To extend technical support to teachers on subject specific skills.
  • To support on difficult concepts and conduct specific need-based refresher training.
  • To extending support in planning the entire academic year including curriculum rollout, remedial, assessments and processes for ongoing monitoring and mentoring.
  • Candidates should aware about local language.
