Satya Bharti Quality Support Program

Telangana

In 2016, Bharti Foundation partnered with the Government in Telangana to enhance the quality of education delivered in the government schools in the state. Under its Satya Bharti Quality Support Program, Bharti Foundation started its work in 15 schools, eventually expanding the program to 50 more schools in subsequent years. Currently, the program is benefitting more than 25,000 students and over 800 teachers.

The program’s framework is structured around the whole-school approach through scholastic and co-scholastic activities defined under the four pillars – student empowerment, school leadership and teachers’ engagement, parents and community involvement and school environment.

Bharti Foundation organizes a number of events and activities like career counselling workshops, cultural programs, life skills workshops, sports, talent hunt competitions, etc. to encourage all-round development of each child.

Parents, community members, district administration officials and education department officials are involved in school activities under the program, helping them realize their responsibility and take ownership in contributing towards the school’s growth, and overall improvisation in the quality of education.
