Bharti Foundation, under its Satya Bharti Quality Support Program, partnered with Project Sadbhavana, Headquarters Northern Command (under Ministry of Defense Government of India) in Ladakh in April 2016 to enhance the overall schooling experience of students and teachers in Army Goodwill Schools. Currently, the program is being implemented in seven schools in the territory – four in the district of Leh and three in the district of Kargil, benefitting more than 2,000 students and 100 teachers.
Under the program, Bharti Foundation helps in creating a happy and engaging environment for a holistic development of students. The central vision behind the program is to infuse energy in schools by providing exposure and experience to the students, teachers and the school leaders, thus motivating them to seek, strive and succeed.
The Program is widely focused on encouraging parents participation in the school endeavors. With the help of community engagement, the Program strives to create productive environment for the students as well as the teachers through better infrastructure, co-scholastic activities, training sessions etc. And above all, a renewed focus on all-round development of students to help them acquire leadership, communication, collaboration and other 21st century skills.
