Bharti Foundation inaugurated Teacher Training resource rooms in Jodhpur

The state of the Art resource room at Satya Bharti School, Lordi is supported by Ms Kalpana Morparia

Jodhpur, 07 April 2022: Bharti Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Bharti Enterprises inaugurated their Teacher Training Rooms at Satya Bharti School Lordi, Jodhpur today. The state of the Art resource room will facilitate techno-pedagogical training among teachers from the region.

This resource room will empower over 200 teachers from 28 Satya Bharti Schools to adopt the latest classroom interventions that will further help develop conceptual, logical and creative skills among 6,500+ students from rural areas.

Speaking on the occasion Ms. Mamta Saikia, CEO, Bharti Foundation said, “This resource room is in sync with our commitment towards empowering teachers with 21st century technology-based pedagogical skills to make our students future ready. We are also extremely grateful to Ms. Kalpana Morparia for her belief in our programs and supporting such interventions that help in bridging the learning gaps in rural India.”

Job Description Academic Mentor

  • To support School Heads / Principals and strengthen the curriculum planning, delivery and class room transaction process for improved effectiveness.
  • To optimize usage and improvement of school’s infrastructure and facilities especially working toilets, functional library, computer labs, Science labs and energized classrooms.
  • To activate critical processes such as sports, drawing and other student cantered activities and events.
  • To smoothen academic operations throughout the year and also non-academic operations viz sports day, annual day, republic day, community volunteering, PTM etc.
  • To support teachers through interactive sessions.
  • To conduct subject wise week in schools for Science, English and Math linked with the annual curriculum.
  • To extend technical support to teachers on subject specific skills.
  • To support on difficult concepts and conduct specific need-based refresher training.
  • To extending support in planning the entire academic year including curriculum rollout, remedial, assessments and processes for ongoing monitoring and mentoring.
  • Candidates should aware about local language.
