Bhavna Verma

Success comes to those who don’t give up, indeed! Bhavna Verma sets a perfect example for the same. Now an alumnus of Phalgi School, Shimla (a partner Government School in Himachal Pradesh under the Satya Bharti Quality Support Program), she has proved that those who are willing to achieve will make it happen, come what may.

Bhavna Verma has been a sincere student who excelled in her academics. She has dedicatedly focused on her goals and worked hard to achieve them. However, she has faced many challenges along the way of her journey to success.

Bhavna was suffering from a severe lung infection in the year 2016. She had to drop one year to be able to come to a position of recovery. In the year 2018, a relapse of the same infection resulted in the formation of an air ball inside her lungs. She had to undergo a surgery for the same in the month of December 2019, while her class XII board exams were approaching. The recovery phase made it very difficult for her to study since she could not exhaust herself by sitting for long hours. Yet, she didn’t let anything stop her from fulfilling her aspirations.

From the month of February, Bhavna started studying at least 7-8 hours a day. Determined to perform well in her exams, she completely dedicated herself to her studies. Bhavna left no stone unturned to compensate for the lost time.

Competing with over 95,000 students who sat for the class XII Himachal Board Exams, Bhavna secured the 5th rank in the state with 96.5% marks, where the average per centage is 76.07%. With her hard work and dedication, she has made her parents, teachers, school and Bharti Foundation proud.

Bhavna wants to grow up to become an English teacher. With commitment like hers, its sure that she would keep on working till she realizes her dream.
