January 2020: The Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Malpura recently hosted Girls’ Education Awareness Drive on the occasion of National Girl Child Day.
Especially in rural India, there are a lot of discriminating biases against girls which makes it imperative to generate awareness about the inequalities that girls face. To create a healthy environment for spreading the awareness, the students of the Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Malpura came forward to support the education of girls through a campaign organized to spread the message of the need of gender equality in education, to the community.
The students designed posters and banners and took charge of the awareness drive thus helping their own community members understand the very core of the existing issues, and urged them to take necessary initiatives and actions to eliminate any biases that may exist around them.
Thanks to rallies like these, India is not only become aware but are also taking necessary actions towards a much needed change.
