National Science Day

February 2020: To honor the invention of ‘The Raman Effect’ by the veteran Indian Physicist, Sir Chandrasekhar Venkata Raman, National Science Day is celebrated at all Satya Bharti school in RMJ with great enthusiasm in February.

This year, Science week with class-wise activities, was conducted one week prior to National Science Day. The activities that were conducted included clay modeling, leaf painting, role play on health and hygiene, debate on ‘Use of Mobile phones (whether bane or boon).

The students and teachers also held a special assembly on the History and Importance of the National Science Day via presentations. Students’ parents and the community members were also invited to join the informative celebrations. Students displayed their science projects on water conservation, handmade battery fan, solar light models, etc via models, charts and demonstrations in an exhibition.

Community and parents appreciated the Events and Hidden talent of children and also gave vote of thanks to Bharti Foundation. This event was also covered by local media, giving the students a great platform where our students exhibited their talent.

Job Description Academic Mentor

  • To support School Heads / Principals and strengthen the curriculum planning, delivery and class room transaction process for improved effectiveness.
  • To optimize usage and improvement of school’s infrastructure and facilities especially working toilets, functional library, computer labs, Science labs and energized classrooms.
  • To activate critical processes such as sports, drawing and other student cantered activities and events.
  • To smoothen academic operations throughout the year and also non-academic operations viz sports day, annual day, republic day, community volunteering, PTM etc.
  • To support teachers through interactive sessions.
  • To conduct subject wise week in schools for Science, English and Math linked with the annual curriculum.
  • To extend technical support to teachers on subject specific skills.
  • To support on difficult concepts and conduct specific need-based refresher training.
  • To extending support in planning the entire academic year including curriculum rollout, remedial, assessments and processes for ongoing monitoring and mentoring.
  • Candidates should aware about local language.
