Little actions, bigger impacts

While the world stands strong and fights the Corona Virus in different ways, we have some people amongst us who are doing everything in their power to make even the smallest actions create a big impression. Since the nation is in the state of lockdown, more often than not, we start to believe that we have really less control over what we can and cannot do. However, there are some people who are leaving no stone unturned to make sure that each and every person is aware, cautious and safe.

One such initiative is being led by Gaurav Kumar. A mere class X student of GBSSS, GTB Nagar, Delhi, Gaurav has decided and is determined to take up the responsibility of reaching out to as many people as he could and create awareness about the ongoing pandemic COVID 19.

A brilliant mind, driven by the passion of art, Gaurav comes from a middle-class family. He is an extrovert who has a love for painting and participates in many events organized by the schools as well as external sources. During these rather difficult times, Gaurav has been creating awareness by making his paintings centered on awareness and preventive measures of the corona virus – COVID 19. He has been sharing the same on social media such as Facebook and WhatsApp. He has made WhatsApp groups not only to get involved in group studies with his friends but also spread his message across so that he can personally reach out to more and more people. He has made his best effort to keep everyone united and alert through this WhatsApp group.

Gaurav has become the fuel of change for his classmates during the lockdown. As active as he has been in fighting COVID 19 through awareness, he has also kept his friends’ spirit high. Not only has he been participating in co-scholastic activities but has also been encouraging his friends to do the same. While at home, he is also taking care of his two younger sibling and helping them with their studies. He has embraced the situation and is making his best effort to spread the positivity around him as well. He has, indeed, acted as a true patron of transformation.
