Mahendra Singh

Mahendra Singh has set an example for all those who aspire to reach greater heights. He has seen many challenges in his life but did not succumb to them.

Born and brought up in Jodhpur, Mahendra belongs to a humble family. His father Bhawar Singh and mother Dariyav Kanwar worked hard to feed Mahendra, his three sisters and four brothers. Due to financial constraints in the family, Mahendra’s education was taking a hit. He was then, enrolled into the Satya Bharti School, Rajgarh, Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Currently, he is in class XII, studying in the Government Senior Secondary School.

Mahendra found his interest and passion in sports; he especially loved to play handball. Having nurtured a dream of pursuing the same, he participated in the state-level handball competitions four times – in class X, class XI as well as class XII. His efforts and dedication in the same has encouraged many of his peers to aspire, pursue and achieve.

Currently, Mahendra has been selected for a National-level training in Handball. He has also been on leadership positions in Republic Day Parades. Instead of being let down by the hurdles that came his way, he is coming out stronger and more determined.

Job Description Academic Mentor

  • To support School Heads / Principals and strengthen the curriculum planning, delivery and class room transaction process for improved effectiveness.
  • To optimize usage and improvement of school’s infrastructure and facilities especially working toilets, functional library, computer labs, Science labs and energized classrooms.
  • To activate critical processes such as sports, drawing and other student cantered activities and events.
  • To smoothen academic operations throughout the year and also non-academic operations viz sports day, annual day, republic day, community volunteering, PTM etc.
  • To support teachers through interactive sessions.
  • To conduct subject wise week in schools for Science, English and Math linked with the annual curriculum.
  • To extend technical support to teachers on subject specific skills.
  • To support on difficult concepts and conduct specific need-based refresher training.
  • To extending support in planning the entire academic year including curriculum rollout, remedial, assessments and processes for ongoing monitoring and mentoring.
  • Candidates should aware about local language.
