Ever since the pandemic hit the world, almost every industry has changed its course of functioning. While education sector has gone almost completely virtual, there are certain challenges that still pose, especially when it comes to rural regions of the country.
Not just lesson delivery plans, the COVID-19 pandemic has reshaped the entire school management and processes, increasing the use of technology. The Satya Bharti Schools have also engaged in virtual processes for admission of new students into the schools, across rural India. Google Forms are being circulated to the parents to get their children enrolled into schools, for ease of convenience and for avoiding physical contact. School authorities are sharing the link of the admission questionnaire on Google forms through WhatsApp with parents, who are filling the required details.
Since the parents of the new entrants are from some of the most remote areas in India, this process has been kept simple and instead of using apps and other advanced online sources, Google Forms are being used. The community members are also finding it easy and convenient with the guidance of the school staff members.
