Shivani’s Journey from a small village in UP to Community Health Officer
Shivani Pandey’s journey from a small village in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh to becoming a dedicated Community Health Officer is an evidence of her determination and passion for serving the nation.
Shivani’s early years were spent at Satya Bharti School, Kurrian Kalan; she was enrolled in 4th grade in 2008. She excelled not only academically but also in co-curricular activities during her school days. She participated actively in various events and showcased her flairs.
Her interest in the medical field was sparked when she acted as a doctor during her performance in grade 5 on National Girl Child Day. The experience left a lasting impact on her, fanning a desire to become a doctor and serve the nation.
She belongs to a middle-class family, her father is a shopkeeper and mother is a house wife. Her parents worked tirelessly to support her education. Despite their financial constraints, they recognized their daughter’s potential and encouraged her to pursue her dreams.
Determined to achieve her goal, Shivani worked persistently throughout her academic journey. She secured 80% in her high school examination, earning the top position in her college. She did not stop there, her outstanding performance continued as she passed her Intermediate Examination with 70% marks, proving her dedication and commitment to her studies.
Sharp focused on her career goal, Shivani pursued a B.Sc. in Nursing from Era’s Medical College in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. After completing her B.Sc. in Nursing, Shivani joined a prestigious government hospital as a nurse. Her dedication to her profession and genuine care for her patient immunization earned her respect and admiration from colleagues and superiors alike.
Recently, Shivani took on a new role as a Community Health Officer (CHO) in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh. As a CHO, she plays a vital role in providing online consultations and immunizations to patients in need. Her firm commitment to improving the health and well-being of her community shines through her work.
