“It takes time and genuine efforts to get children listening to a teacher. Many of these students, who are aged between 5-8 years, are first in their families to be stepping in a school. Their parents work hard to keep their stomachs fed. Education was the last thing on their mind. So I’m starting with the basics- the very basics. We all have now become friends. And I don’t want to make any mistakes in my attempts in providing the right knowledge to them. “
“I am coming up with my own methods every day. Some days I’m a clown for them, some days I’m as old as they are, and some days, I become strict. My classroom is a ‘make-your-own-mistakes’ zone. But we have all promised one thing to each other- we shall all pass in our own journeys!”
