The Bright Spark – Palak

Palak Yadav was a firecracker of energy and creativity. Even before joining school, Palak always has a strong yearning to understand the world around her. From a very young age, she had had a strong determination towards pursuing education. The world around her did not understand her hunger for education; however, her conviction helped her convince her parents to support her decision.

Once Palak started going to the Satya Bharti School, Dhani Piplian, Amer, her eagerness to learn new things and her enthusiasm to keep going went uphill. Her parents believed that it’s just a phase but eventually, when Palak’s keen interest in her schooling kept growing, they also started planning a future full of possibilities for her.

Coming back home from the school, she often recited English phases out loud. The children around her who used to make fun of her for going to school also started learning bit by bit from her. With the help of her teachers, she kept learning new things every day and growing holistically. She participated in many competitions and won many recognitions at school and cluster-level as well. After class V, Palak became the only student from among the 50 villages in her area to get admission in Navodaya School.

Palak’s enthusiasm for learning and taking on the challenge of new opportunities defined Palak’s character. She continued to grow, learn and achieve. Palak’s future is bright, and there’s no doubt that from a spark, she will grow into a brightly burning flame.
