June 2020: The current outbreak of COVID-19 may have limited our day-to-day activities in one way but on the other hand, the world is innovating to create new opportunities. While everything we do has changed its course, so has the way of acknowledging and celebrating special days.
On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Bharti Foundation organized a quiz competition for the students of partner Government schools in Himachal Pradesh. The quiz focused on deliberating information about Yoga.
More than 1,200 students from class VI to class XII from 10 different schools participated in the competition. The half an hour long competition was conducted virtually; the answers were collected from the students through Google Docs. Not only did the competition increase awareness about the history of Yoga but also helped the students stay updated and engaged.
In times like these, where our interactions are mostly virtual, digital learning initiatives like such are actually taking knowledge sharing to the next level.
